Avagard Surgical Hand Scrub is used as a broad spectrum antimicrobial surgical hand scrub.

- Avagard Surgical Hand Scrub is an antiseptic surgical hand scrub for the removal of most resident and transient flora.
- Avagard Surgical Hand Scrub can also be used as an antiseptic skin cleanser for antibacterial hand washing prior to invasive pre-surgical hand antisepsis procedures and also to pre-surgical patient skin scrubbing.
- Residual and cumulative efficacy - which is measured as reductions from the baseline microbial population present on the skin of the hands prior to product application.
