HydroClean Plus

HydroClean plus delivers Ringer’s solution to the wound for up to three days. During this time, interactive and continuous wound irrigation takes place, due to the wound dressing pad also absorbing wound exudate. The PHMB bound in the SAP core has an antibacterial effect and inhibits the growth of bacteria inside the wound pad.

Indications:

• Suitable for both cavity and superfi cial wounds
• Can be used on any wound in the debridement phase such as leg ulcers, pressure injuries including necrotic and infected wounds

Contraindications:

• Do not use HydroClean plus on any patient that may be allergic to any of its ingredients

Suggested Wear Time:

• Up to 3 days dependent on exudate levels
• If a wound is packed with HydroClean plus Cavity and covered with HydroClean plus a dressing change every 3 days is sufficient
