Mesalt Dressing Ribbon 2cm x 10m Roll - Each stimulates the debridement of heavily discharging wounds in the inflammatory phase by absorbing exudate, bacteria and necrotic material. This effectively facilitates the wound healing process.

Recommended use – Indicated for the use of moderate to heavily exuding and infected wounds such as pressure ulcers and surgical wounds. A secondary dressing is required, to assist in autolytic debriding.

Frequency of dressing change – Mesalt can stay intact for up to 7 days, depending on the primary dressing goal of care. A secondary product is required to secure the dressing in place and absorb exudate.

Precautions & Contraindications – not to be used on low exuding wounds or anyone with an allergy to sodium or chloride.
