Alpha Medical Solutions helps NDIS participants, Home Care Package (HCP) clients and Support at Home participants access quality meal delivery services through carefully selected third-party meal providers. We coordinate the ordering process and work with trusted suppliers who prepare, package and deliver nutritious meals directly to participants.
Our role is to make ordering simple while ensuring participants have access to reliable meal providers that support choice, convenience and peace of mind.

We partner with meal providers that meet relevant Australian food safety requirements and applicable NDIS Practice Standards, helping participants receive meals that are prepared, packaged and delivered safely.
All meals are packaged and transported in accordance with food safety and transport requirements to help maintain product quality and integrity throughout delivery.

Diabetes-Friendly Meals from TDK
Our first meal delivery partner is TDK (The Diabetes Kitchen), which specialises in nutritionist-designed meals for people living with diabetes and other blood glucose management needs. As our network grows, we will continue to add trusted meal providers that offer a broader range of specialised meal options to support diverse dietary requirements and participant preferences.
TDK (The Diabetes Kitchen) is a trusted meal delivery service for people managing diabetes, offering low-carb ready meals that are nutritionist-designed and made with real, wholesome ingredients. TDK meals are created to support all types of diabetes, including Type 1, Type 2, and gestational diabetes, as well as those with insulin resistance or pre-diabetes.
Funding Through the NDIS
Eligible NDIS participants can order Food & Meals through Alpha Medical Solutions under the NDIS Assistance with Meal Preparation support item. The funding process depends on how your NDIS plan is managed. Funding for Food & Meals is subject to your individual NDIS plan, available funding, and approval.

If your selected meal service requires clinical documentation, please also provide an individualised Mealtime Management Plan prepared by your Speech Pathologist, Accredited Practising Dietitian and/or General Practitioner (GP), or as documented within your NDIS plan.

Support at Home (HCP) Meals
Alpha Medical Solutions helps eligible Support at Home (SAH) and Home Care Package (HCP) participants access nutritious, ready-made meals delivered directly to their homes through our trusted meal delivery partners. Our service supports older Australians receiving aged care services who wish to maintain their independence while enjoying convenient, quality meals.
Under the Australian Government's Support at Home program, the cost of eligible meals is generally divided into two components:
- Participant Co-payment – Participants pay the mandatory out-of-pocket contribution for the raw ingredient cost (generally around 30% of the meal cost).
- Government-funded Component – The remaining eligible preparation and delivery costs are invoiced to your Support at Home provider and funded through your package, subject to your individual funding arrangements and applicable co-contributions.
Funding arrangements may vary depending on your individual Support at Home or Home Care Package funding and your provider's approval.
Support at Home Participants
If you would like to order meals through Alpha Medical Solutions, please speak with your Support at Home or Home Care Package provider to confirm whether they will subsidise your meals. Once approved, let us know, and we'll work directly with your provider to establish your account and billing arrangements.
Home Care & Aged Care Providers
To arrange meal funding for your participant, please email us with the participant's details and confirm the percentage of the meal costs your organisation will cover. We'll work with you to establish the appropriate billing arrangements and ensure a smooth ordering process.

If your selected meal service requires clinical documentation, simply complete our Food & Meals Request Form and provide an individualised Mealtime Management Plan prepared by your Speech Pathologist, Accredited Practising Dietitian or General Practitioner (GP), or as documented within your NDIS plan. This helps ensure your selected meal provider understands your dietary requirements and any special instructions before your meals are supplied.

Yes. If your NDIS plan is Plan Managed, simply enter your Plan Manager's email address during checkout in the "Send a copy of the invoice to this email address" field. We will send the invoice for the NDIS-funded portion of your order directly to your Plan Manager.
