Kai Biopsy Punch
Kai Biopsy Punch's sterile and stainless-steel instrument allows for accurate and gentle skin biopsies. Skin biopsies are a central element in medical diagnosis which remains the criterion standard despite the development of diagnostics procedures. The punch biopsy gives a representative cross section through the entire cutis, as it reaches deep into the skin and includes a sufficiently wide excision of the cutis. The instrument is suitable for use in a range of clinical areas including dermatology, gynaecology, implantology and podiatry.
The regular, disposable biopsy dermal punches contain a seamless, stainless steel sharp cutting edge and a ribbed handle to ensure grip and control is maintained by the user. The size of the biopsy punch (8mm) is embossed on the instrument for easy identification, with a wide range of sizes also available and has a 5-year shelf life.
