Metsal Heat Rub Cream

Metsal Heat Rub Cream is a temporary pain relief cream, perfect for use before, during, or after sports and everyday activities. Established in 1971, the Metsal brand has a rich history of supporting Australians in sporting and daily activities.

Metsal Heat Rub Cream provides temporary relief from pain associated with sprains and strains, arthritis and rheumatism, lumbago, and fibrositis.

Warnings:

Do not use this product:

• On children under 2 years of age.
• If past the expiry date.

While using this product:

• For external use only.
• Avoid contact with eyes and open wounds or skin abrasions.
• Do not apply heat lamps, heat pads, hot water bottles, or bandages.
• If a rash or irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult a doctor or pharmacist.

Ingredients:

Active Ingredients (per gram): Methyl Salicylate: 283 mg, Eucalyptus Oil: 88 mg, Menthol: 20 mg.

Directions:

Gently smooth a small amount of Metsal cream into the skin 2-3 times a day. The cream penetrates to relieve pain; vigorous rubbing is unnecessary.

• For Sports: Apply before, during, and after activity to relieve sports-related sprains, strains, muscle, and joint pain.

• Before Sport: Apply before warming up.
• During Sport: Apply to sore muscles and joints for pain relief.
• After Sport: Use on muscles and joints to alleviate pain from sprains, strains, and soreness.

• When Injured:

• Rest: Rest the injury for at least 48-72 hours.
• Ice: Apply ice to the injured area for 20 minutes every 2 hours to reduce swelling and pain.
• Compress: Wrap the injury with a compression bandage.
• Elevation: Elevate the injured area to help reduce swelling and pain.
• Recovery: Metsal Heat Rub Cream can be applied to muscles and joints once swelling has subsided.
